Refuge of Life Transport Van

Help Us Keep the Girls Safe, Dry, and in School

At Refuge of Life in Pucallpa, Peru, nearly 20 girls rely on us not just for a safe home—but for access to education, opportunity, and a hopeful future. But right now, something as basic as transportation is putting those hopes at risk.

The Urgent Need:

Currently, the girls are transported in 2-3 privately owned small cars or open-air moto taxis. When it rains (which happens often in the Amazon region), they arrive at school soaked. Some miss school altogether. And for group outings? They often can’t all go at once.

Why a Van Matters:
*Dignity & Safety: No child should have to arrive at school wet and embarrassed. A van protects them from the elements and keeps them safe on the road.
*Education Access: One vehicle means all the girls can attend school and return home together—every day, rain or shine.
*Shared Experiences: A van allows all the girls to participate in field trips and church events as a family, without leaving anyone behind.

How You Can Help:
*Donate Today: Every gift brings us one step closer to purchasing a reliable van.
*Share the Need: Tell others who may be moved to help.
You can be the reason a girl gets to school tomorrow—warm, dry, and ready to learn.

Donate here or contact us to make a pledge.

Thank you for investing in the future of these precious girls.
