About Kabagambe Home Sponsorship

Kabagambe Children’s Home, located on the outskirts of Kampala, Uganda, is home to 19 children. It was founded by Alex, who grew up as an orphan and began caring for children by bringing them into his own home. Through years of saving and the support of givers, Alex was able to purchase land and build a home for the children.

Kabagambe is a rural home reached by long dirt roads. Resources are limited, and daily life is simple. The children help with chores, care for animals, and share what they have. The home exists to meet basic needs and provide stability for children who would otherwise have very little.

Home sponsorship helps sustain Kabagambe by supporting everyday needs like food, care, and shelter. Ongoing support allows this home to continue caring for the children who depend on it.

We are currently working to raise money to build a learning lab. This learning lab helps create space for these children who might have never been in school before coming to this home, learning grow. This space will open up the possibilities of a future these kids once dreamed of. Education in key in equipping these children up for a successful future.
